"10 vokal-beats" - now available for download!
In 2005, Ørehænger released a handbook on vocal percussion: "10 vokal-beats". It was written (in Danish) by Morten Kjær who also recorded a CD to go with the book incl. countless sounds and examples of how to combine them into beats and use them in musical arrangements. All physical copies of the handbook were sold out a few years ago. But now you can download a complete PDF version with all the audio files in our shop. Click here for more details.

Meet our collaborators!
For years, we have enjoyed working with our German manager and founder of Vocaltime: Karin Müller. And now we have added two more cool people to the Ørehænger family: Annalisa Schmad and Julie Balslev. Annalisa is a vocal educator and creator of EduVox in the Netherlands, and Julie is a singer in the vocal ensemble Voicebox in Aarhus, Denmark. These three ladies are collaborating with us on spreading the love and music around Europe and beyond.
"The Way of Love"
In 2014, Ørehænger was invited to compose a new, contemporary choir piece for a big church music festival in Tübingen, Germany. We chose to write music for "The Way of Love"; one of the most famous passages from the Corinthians, often used at weddings. It's the one about Faith, Hope, and Love. Our composition was performed live at the gorgeous town cathedral by our good friends from Jazzchor Freiburg, directed by the one and only Roger Treece. Morten Kjær was the soloist, and it was a very memorable experience for him to be a part of. Listen to Jazzchor Freiburg's own, later recording of the piece here ...
The arrangement can now be ordered in our shop. It comes in two different versions: Advanced a cappella (SSAATTBB) and Mixed choir (SATB) w/ accompaniment. Enjoy!
We love Berlin!

"Run Run Run" on American hit TV show!
We are so proud to announce that our song "Run Run Run" (which is a part of the "Soulful Scandinavia" series) was featured on an episode of "Dance Moms". The American reality TV show is watched by millions of people around the world, and in this episode, "Run Run Run" is being sung live at a dance competition by Morten and his colleagues from the 'It Gets Better' show. The music is used to underscore the true story of Jay who is transsexual. Watch the trailer here ...
"Soulful Scandinavia" goes international
